Multiplayer?

Postby Warduke » Sun Jun 15, 2008 4:35 am

The game looks pretty sweet but I don't see anything about multiplayer? Looks like it would be a lot of fun for a LAN game.

Any plans for multi?

Warduke

Single player only.

There may be a multiplayer mode released sometime in the future, but this is not confirmed.

Hopefully the developer(s) continue to add features and such after the games launch. Not only does this discourage piracy slightly (constantly having to find new releases can get irritating) it also increases confidence with purchasing from a developer in the future.

Garry's Mod is a shining example of this.

Multiplayer would make this game worth buying.
Also, not crashing with a memory allocation error 10 minutes into the demo would have been cool as well.

I already mentioned multiplayer in my other thread. but right now if you want multiplayer tank combat. you need to look at the Bit Battles game. its still in development stage. (Beta) and not many are online. but give it a swish and go join the beta!

Definitely agree with Luk's suggestion about checking out Bit Battles for multiplayer Tron Tank action.

I see BB's news section hasn't been updated in a while so may send Chris an email to see where he's at with the game and post back here.

Thanks

Just in reply to what I wrote above: Chris Haigler's still developing BitBattles and it's still in open beta, so definitely worth giving it a shot (for multiplayer Tron style tank battles).

Agreed on the BB, that looks very nice, but I tell ya what, if you can figure out a way to do it for THIS game, I'd think it was just about perfect.

Would love to see a four or so player free for all with beem towers and such.

Not to mention titans rampaging... hehe... pure chaos!

Hmm, maybe we could find some way to 'merge' the games? it might work, for all we know.
