Hopefully the developer(s) continue to add features and such after the games launch. Not only does this discourage piracy slightly (constantly having to find new releases can get irritating) it also increases confidence with purchasing from a developer in the future.
Multiplayer would make this game worth buying. Also, not crashing with a memory allocation error 10 minutes into the demo would have been cool as well.
I already mentioned multiplayer in my other thread. but right now if you want multiplayer tank combat. you need to look at the Bit Battles game. its still in development stage. (Beta) and not many are online. but give it a swish and go join the beta!

Just in reply to what I wrote above: Chris Haigler's still developing BitBattles and it's still in open beta, so definitely worth giving it a shot (for multiplayer Tron style tank battles).
