Yep - Hamiltonian for over twenty years now. Somewhat conflicted about the place actually, but it's home I guess.

By the way, what do you think about my comments regarding the Waikato Times cartoonist? As a graphic designer it just makes me want to bang my head against the wall every time I see Hawkey's latest turd. Surely the Waikato Times can find a decent cartoonist? Grr (pet peeve of mine).

My family dwelt in Paeroa when I was little but Hamilton is what I know. It's not the best, it's only barely above average, but... Yeah, Hamilton.

I did see that Zombie Movie! I enjoyed it muchly, long time Z-movie fan, clever ending and a strangely touching epilogue.

Blitz3D eh? I had a little squiz at the page for it and got impressed by some of the results, if I were less a lazy sod I'd want something like it to put my grand game ideas to the reality test..

At Uni the Critical Thought tutors used to give us Herald articles to rip apart so I'm conditioned to prefer the Times. I've written two letters to them and won Letter of the Week both times (I plan on a hat trick...)

That being said I agree totally with your assessment of Hawkeye's skill or lack thereof - bewilderingly naive representations. I guess it's like ready salted potato chips, bland enough to be palatable by all, but dissatisfying to an aficionado.
