Witcher 3

Anyone playing?

Spent an hour or so last night.

As per usual with open-world games, rather than actually playing I spent about 40 minutes tweaking graphics settings to get a nice balance between speed and visual clarity. Pretty demanding at highest levels graphically.
On my GTX760, set detail levels to highest along with SSAO but toned down things like shadows and texture quality.
Set resolution to 2560x1440 and turned off AA + motion blur+vignette.

This seems to give a nice balance but then I haven't gotten into a big city yet.

I was never the type to tweak graphics settings. I usually put everything on highest, see if it runs well, and if not put everything on lowest except for the things that I find most crucial. In that regard, I prefer consoles because the fine-tuning has already been done for me by the developers.

As for the game itself, it doesn't look like my type :/
