It's definitely worth a punt even though it's 'last-gen' in a lot of ways.

There are community patches that allow for widescreen and add in extra content.

Gameplay is a little rudimentary and can be frustrating, but I'm playing through again on easy for an enjoyable ride.
The big thing is it really nails the Tron design.

<edit> i should also mention I'm getting some crashes but I can't be sure that's because I'm pulling all sorts of fool graphical hacks with the game...

That looks exciting and coming along nicely from when I last saw it.
Any demo?

http://gamejolt.com/games/shooter/neon-tanks/15304/ <-- game download and profile page.

The new graphics aren't in yet, as I haven't had time to fully get all of the tank models updated to the new standards, but it's functional.

I will most certainly get a new version up once I get the graphics all updated to par, and notify you all via this topic. :P
