Battlezone VR

Postby Phantaminium » Wed Oct 05, 2016 7:20 pm

Anyone gonna try it when it's released? I really want to, but there's no telling when / if I'll get a VR headset. Not to mention I get my first PS4 on Nov. 10th. (PS4K sounds better than "PS4 Pro")

I've taken a look at the vids - looks like a blast although (and I may be bragging a bit), the gameplay looks a bit thin on strategy.

So, I finally got a PS4 (the Pro to be specific) and a copy of Battlezone VR. I will try to take some screenshots and what not when I get a chance to play.

I have. It plays how I imagine a D&D game would go: you have your board, a bunch of spaces where stuff happens, and events asking "what do you do". As I have some things I like about the game (like that menu ambient noise that seemed to be a thing between both battlezone and tu) there are some things I dislike. Such as you don't get to keep the upgrades to get if you start a new campaign. This mostly bugs me because it costs quite a bit to purchase the 'upgrade modules' as they go up in price every time you buy them, same with extra lives. Not only that, but after every turn you take, the enemy supposedly gets stronger, which discourages exploring the whole board.
