print screen

Postby _33 » Mon Jun 18, 2007 5:49 pm

I tried to do a print screen with the right key, either with ALT or no ALT, and I found 2 files from several essais, they are TU.CFG and TU_SCR.CFG ... Maybe I have it wrong. But I have absolutely not found my screen dumps. I'll look further.

Jacques

I haven't instituted a native screen cap routine, but you can hit PrtScrn (which should be on your keyboard - and make sure F-lock is off), then alt_tab out of TU, open any photo editing prog and paste into that. Hopefully that should work for you?

Here's how I do a printscreen:

Code: Select all

         fn$ = "TU" + Str$(MilliSecs()) + ".bmp"
         SaveBuffer FrontBuffer(),fn$

Most games I know trigger a screen snapshot with the F10 function key. This way you'll never have problems with any betatesters wanting to perform a print screen. I'll try your technique, I need to know if it does work. I think it's a windows feature.
