Somewhere in the permissions you have set the TU2 full build restricted area back to everyone again.
Or something is in the wrong group somewhere.

Hmmmn,
When not logged in you can access the entire forum, including the TU2 Full Build restricted area.
BUT i created a new user account to help bug test permissions and when your logged in as a new user the TU2 full build/restricted area is once again hidden.
BUUUUTTT as soon as you log out you can access everything again, including the TU2 full build/restriceted area.

So permissions for new users appear to be correct, but not logged in users have the rights to view the entire forum.

Newly registered users are restricted to only being able to post here, so that's working.

Hey guys,
Sorry if I've missed anything important, I've been gone in Yosemite for the past few days. Anything I should know?

Nothing new yet,
The spambots seem to have taken the last few days off.

Ok - guests are now set to 'never' seeing the TU2 build forum.

PPBhb has these overlapping permission sets but the information is spread out over multiple options screens and a member can be in several groups at once with different permissions.
It's just confusing as hell.

Six polish spam accounts registered since start of June and only one spam post (which I deleted).

I noticed all the new accounts,
I searched on ways to filter out spam registrations.

Most people have implemented a 2 step verification process, the captcha and written questions (not math questions, bots can do math and read math).
It seems the biggest defense is bots can read English but can't understand it,
So if you ask questions like "If i had an apple and you took my apple away, how many apples would i have? the answer starts with a N and ends with an E and sounds like NUN, please write the 4 letter answer all in capitals"
A bot will be able to read it but not understand how to answer it.

Sorry i haven't been on over the last few days to help with the SPAM.
My internet has been intermittent and dropping out a lot making it almost impossible to surf.
Should be good now, new modem and all should hopefully fix things my end :(

MP

It's all good. Lots of spam accounts registered but not a one post.
